Photo papers and its uses

The photo papers are used to take print out of the photos or the images that are taken by the digital camera. The photo papers are also available in various sizes depending upon our need. When we speak about the photo paper size there comes aspect ratio. Aspect ratio is the relation between the horizontal and vertical sizes of the photo. It can also be applied to video, paintings or any two dimensional rectangle.
Aspect ratio is calculated by dividing the width of a photo by its height. Common traditional photo paper sizes are 4X6, 5X7, 8X11 and more. In taking photo prints there are some points to be discussed. If you print occasionally for fun an Inkjet printer with normal or photo paper is probably good enough for you. If you print a lot and quality is very important photo paper with a photo printer is the way to go. As a rule of thumb glossy photo paper provides the best quality for color photo prints while matte photo paper provides the best quality for black and white prints.
To get the best print quality you should use photo paper in conjunction with a printer that supports such paper. Photo paper and photo printers are more expensive than document oriented A4 Inkjet printers. Photo paper is designed specifically for producing and preserving photos taken with a digital camera. Glossy photo paper is among the most expensive but are highly recommended for most color prints to assure the best image and greatest durability.
